UP CM Yogi Adityanath Government Distributes Appointment Letters to 818 Selected Candidates Across Departments

The selected candidates include those appointed to teaching and other positions associated with Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy services, including pharmacists.

The Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath government distributed appointment letters to 818 candidates selected for various government posts through recruitment conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).

The appointment letter distribution programme was held at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow on September 19, 2026, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handing over appointment letters to selected candidates. The recruitment covers several departments, including Ayush, medical and health services, skill development and MSME.

404 Candidates Selected for Ayush Department: CM Yogi Adityanath

The Ayush Department accounted for the largest share, with 404 candidates receiving appointments. The selected candidates include those appointed to teaching and other positions associated with Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy services, including pharmacists.

The state government said the recruitment is intended to provide employment opportunities to candidates according to their qualifications and professional skills.

357 X-Ray Technicians Appointed

The Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department selected 357 candidates for the post of X-Ray Technician. Their appointments will strengthen the technical workforce associated with healthcare services across the state.

Meanwhile, 48 candidates were selected as instructors under the Vocational Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department. The instructors will be associated with different technical trades and vocational training.

The MSME Department also selected nine candidates for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer.

Focus on Transparent Recruitment

The Uttar Pradesh government said the appointments were made through the recruitment processes of UPPSC and UPSSSC, with an emphasis on transparent and merit-based selection.
