The food showcase is expected to bring together distinctive culinary products and traditional specialities associated with different parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Recent preparations for the event indicate that regional food entrepreneurs will use the trade show to present local products to visitors and potential buyers. For instance, entrepreneurs from Prayagraj are set to showcase products including packaged samosas alongside traditional crafts and other locally produced goods.
Similarly, traditional dishes and food products from the Purvanchal region are being prepared for display through dedicated stalls. The showcase includes products associated with districts such as Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar and Maharajganj under the state’s One District One Cuisine initiative.
Food Meets Enterprise at UPITS 2026
The culinary component forms part of the wider objective of UPITS to provide businesses, manufacturers, exporters and entrepreneurs with a platform to reach domestic and international markets.
The official UPITS website says the 2026 edition will bring together enterprises from across Uttar Pradesh and provide opportunities to showcase products and services to international buyers, domestic B2B buyers and domestic B2C visitors.
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations said the event is expected to connect more than 1,000 Indian sellers with over 600 foreign buyers, creating opportunities for sourcing, trade partnerships and investment.
