Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath congratulated the people of the country on the completion of 12 years of the Make in India initiative, highlighting its role in promoting manufacturing, investment and innovation.
In a post on X, Adityanath credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership with connecting India’s talent, technology and production capabilities with global markets.
CM Yogi Adityanath Highlights Local-to-Global Approach
Adityanath said the “Local to Global” approach and the vision of “Make in India-Make for the World” have helped Indian products reach international markets.
He said the initiative has created greater opportunities for innovation, strengthened investor confidence and provided fresh momentum to the country’s manufacturing sector.
Focus on Investment and Employment
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also highlighted employment opportunities, an investment-friendly environment and expanding manufacturing capacity as key outcomes associated with the initiative.
According to Adityanath, these developments are contributing to India’s efforts to strengthen its position in the global economy and support long-term economic growth.
Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat
Adityanath linked the Make in India initiative with the broader Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, saying greater domestic manufacturing capacity can contribute to the goal of a developed India.
He also congratulated Prime Minister Modi for what he described as a transformative journey and said the initiative had strengthened India’s industrial confidence over the past 12 years.
