According to the Punjab Police, the Day 248 operation resulted in the arrest of 246 individuals, including eight proclaimed offenders.

The Punjab Police said the operation focused on locations linked to gangster networks and individuals associated with such activities.
Total Arrests Cross 73,000
With the latest arrests, the total number of arrests made since the launch of the statewide campaign has reached 73,661, according to the police.
The department said the continued operations are aimed at dismantling gangster networks and strengthening public safety across Punjab.
Punjab Police Appeals for Public Information
The Punjab Police has also appealed to members of the public to share information related to gangster activities.
People can provide information anonymously through the Anti-Gangster Helpline at 93946-93946, according to the department.
The police said the campaign will continue as part of its efforts to tackle organised criminal networks in the state.
