Drishyam The Conclusion Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn Flick Breaks Multiple Records, Marks Highest Grosser For Singham Again Actor

Drishyam: The Conclusion opened to Rs 66.75 crore net in India on October 2, per Sacnilk. The Ajay Devgn film crossed Rs 95 crore worldwide, beat the Drishyam 2 opening by a huge margin and became one of the biggest Hindi openers of 2026.

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion has begun its theatrical run with a bang. The film released on October 2, and early figures show a massive first day.

Day 1 Collection in India

According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 66.75 crore net in India on day 1 across 15,759 shows. The India gross stood at Rs 80.10 crore. Bollywood Hungama’s tracker, which may not yet be updated, shows a lower figure of Rs 62.83 crore.

Worldwide Numbers

Overseas gross added Rs 15 crore, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 95.10 crore after just one day. Trade reports say the Rs 100 crore worldwide mark should fall over the weekend.

Records Broken

  • Drishyam 2 opened at Rs 15.38 crore net in 2022, so this film’s opening is several times higher
  • It is reported as the second biggest Hindi opening of 2026, behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge
  • It has moved ahead of the opening-day figures of Border 2 and Mirzapur: The Movie

Highest Opening for Ajay Devgn

The number also appears to be the biggest opening of Devgn’s career, ahead of his previous Singham Again release. Singham Again is generally reported to have opened in the Rs 43 to 44 crore range, so the new film clears it comfortably.

Strong Advance Booking Helped

Advance booking opened on September 27, and early trade estimates of Rs 25 to 30 crore were revised upward as sales picked up. Advance sales crossed Rs 50 crore by release day. Bollywood Hungama recorded 55.90 per cent overall occupancy, with evening shows touching 74.23 per cent.

Budget and Outlook

The film‘s reported production budget is around Rs 110 crore, so the opening day has already recovered a big share. Bollywood Hungama’s lifetime prediction is Rs 160 to 175 crore, though that may rise if weekend growth and word of mouth stay strong.
