5 Upcoming electric scooters: Numerous electric scooters are currently on Indian roads, and more are about to be introduced. Electric scooters are growing in popularity in India due to their affordability and features like smartphone connectivity and GPS. Here are a few electric scooters that Indian consumers might expect in the near future.

Hero Electric AE-8

At the Auto Expo, this electric scooter with a retro design was introduced. It is a member of the Hero Stable's Trends Series and has a modest top speed of 45 kmph with a range of 80 kilometres on a single charge. You receive a digital instrument panel, a halo LED DRL, and a full-LED headlamp.

Suzuki Burgman Electric 

This scooter, which is scheduled to go on sale in January 2023, is nearly identical to its ICE counterpart, down to the long, free-flowing tail section and bulbous front apron. This scooter only comes in a dual-tone white and blue colour combination. Due to its extensive Bluetooth functionality, the scooter can be connected to your smartphone.

Gogoro 2 Series 

This electric scooter is produced by Gogoro, a subsidiary of HTC, one of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world. Gogoro is a Taiwanese electric vehicle company. This scooter is available in white and black. The scooter's cover may be changed out for a smartphone cover, allowing for customization. There will be several colours available for this scooter.

Honda Activa Electric

The introduction of this scooter is anticipated for mid-2023. The electric version will be influenced by the Activa 125 and the Activa 6G. The chassis will mostly remain unchanged.

TVS Creon

The TVS Creon was unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo. It boasts an instrument console that is entirely computerised, LEDs, and a sharp, angular design language. This scooter has a 5-second 0-60 kmph acceleration time. You receive a digital instrument console with Bluetooth functionality, three riding modes, GPS, security, cloud connectivity, geo-fencing, park assistance, and anti-theft.
