Ather 450X Gen3: The 450X Gen3 electric scooter from Ather Energy has received a number of significant improvements, which were revealed at the Ather Community Day 2023 on December 7 in Bangalore. Updated software, improved comfort and convenience, and a wider colour palette all represent these changes.
The most significant adjustment is the debut of the AtherStack 5.0 software, which includes a new display user interface and enhanced navigation. The redesigned user interface has a split-type display on the home page to make it easier and faster for the rider to monitor and adjust various settings. Additionally, the addition of motion controls makes switching between multiple screens easier and more fluid.

What's in the new update?
The first scooter to use onboard navigation powered by Google is Ather's 450X Gen3. Riders should have a significantly better navigational experience now that Vector Maps, real traffic, and the rider's perspective view have all been added. Additionally, the updated AtherStack 5.0 makes use of the new AutoHold function, which is Ather's take on hill hold. This stops the scooter from rolling backward or forward when the rider wants to stop on an incline. Additionally, Ather has improved the cushioning and design of the seat to improve both the rider's and the pillion's comfort.
The company is coming with a battery protect warranty
In order to increase customer confidence in the battery's lifetime, Ather has also introduced a new Battery Protect guarantee programme, which increases the battery's warranty to five years/60000 kilometres. While the 450X comes with this guarantee as standard equipment, purchasers of the less powerful 450 Plus can get the extra two years of coverage for Rs 6999. Additionally, the company unveiled a brand-new Ather Neighborhood Charging solution that aims to instal charging stations in communal private areas like apartments and office buildings. All electric cars, with the exception of Ather scooters, will be compatible with these points.
Ather 450X Gen3: New colour options
Last but not least, there are now six colour possibilities for the Ather 450 series, including four new hues: Cosmic Black, Salt Green, Lunar Grey, and True Red. Additionally, the organisation has kept the previous Space Grey and White colour palettes.
