Auto Expo 2023: Greaves unveils Ampere Primus Electric Scooter, here is all you need to know

Auto Expo 2023:  Greaves Cotton presented the Ampere Primus electric scooter to the public for the first time, at the Auto Expo 2023. The electric vehicle manufacturer has just released their newest two-wheeler, and here is all we know about it.

The Ampere Primus has a design that is simultaneously modern and practical. In addition to that, it features LED lights, sharp side panels, a floorboard that is quite large for a single piece, and a grab rail in the back. The indicator lights for the turns are placed into the front visor, just below the headlight.

The Ampere Primus has a maximum range of around 100 kilometres

It is driven by a 4 kilowatt (kW) motor that is coupled to a 3 kilowatt-hour (kWh) LFP battery. Greaves asserts that the Ampere Primus has a maximum range of around 100 kilometres and a top speed of 77 kilometres per hour. There are three distinct riding modes available: eco, city, and power. The electric scooter comes equipped with a reverse mode for the rider's increased convenience. In addition, the Ampere Primus's instrument console offers communication via Bluetooth as well as navigation capabilities.

 It comes with things like Bluetooth connectivity, which lets you use turn-by-turn navigation and get alerts on the digital dashboard through the Ampere app. Like the Bajaj Chetak, the Primus can be started without a key.

Greaves will shortly disclose the costs

The front telescopic forks, the single rear shock, and the front and rear drum brake setups that are installed on the alloy wheels make up the hardware configuration of the vehicle. Greaves will shortly disclose the costs, and the Ampere Primus will be available in a total of five distinct paint schemes.
