The Bajaj Dominar gets 248.77cc engine. This engine has a 5-speed transmission and can produce up to 27 PS of maximum power and 23.5 Nm of maximum torque.

The Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by a 249 cc single cylinder with a maximum output of 20.8 PS and a maximum torque of 20.1 Nm. With this engine, a 5-speed gearbox is available. The manufacturer provided a single cylinder.

It is clear from comparing the engines of the Yamaha FZ 25 and the Bajaj Dominar 250 that the Bajaj Dominar has a superior engine over the Yamaha FZ 25.

Mileage

Yamaha asserts that the FZ 25 has a mileage of 50.33 km per litre, whereas Bajaj Auto asserts that the Dominar offers a mileage of 35.03 km per litre. The ARAI has validated the mileage of both bikes, and as a result, it is known that the Yamaha FZ 25 offers 15 km/l better mileage than the Bajaj Dominar.

Price

The price for the Yamaha FZ 25 begins at Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Bajaj Dominar, on the other hand, has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.75 lakh in Delhi. The Yamaha FZ 25 costs roughly Rs 25,000 less than the Bajaj Dominar, its main competition.

Verdict

According to a comparison between the Yamaha FZ25 and the Bajaj Dominar 250, the Bajaj Dominar is superior in terms of engine, but the Yamaha FZ25 is superior in terms of pricing and mileage.
