The 160.3cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is a modified version of the 149cc engine that was previously employed in the Bajaj Pulsar AS150. The motor in the BS6 incarnation produces a peak torque of 14.6Nm and a maximum power of 17.03bhp. The transmission is handled by a 5-speed gearbox. It costs Rs. 1,23,781.
