Cars under 4 lakhs: Renault Kwid

Since Renault first introduced the KWID in India, it has been progressively rising in popularity. It is without a doubt one of the greatest affordable cars in India, with so much to offer in terms of performance and features. For the KWID, Renault offers two petrol engines: a 0.8L engine with 54PS and 72Nm of torque, and a 1.0L engine with 68PS and 91Nm of torque. The 5-speed manual transmission is the only transmission option available for the 1.0L model, while the 5-speed automatic transmission is the only option for the 0.8L petrol vehicle.

An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, manual air conditioning, keyless entry, a 12V charging plug for passengers in the back, and rear parking cameras are just a few of the most recent innovations added to the new KWID. The KWID places a high priority on safety and is equipped with a driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, and ABS with EBD.

Cars under 4 lakhs: Datsun redi-Go

The cheapest Nissan model sold in India is the Datsun redi-Go. The CMF-A architecture is shared by the Renault Kwid and redi-Go, and the redi-Go has 0.8- and 1.0-liter petrol engine options. The bigger engine can be equipped with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT. Models like the Maruti Alto twins and the Renault Kwid compete with this small car. Despite the low cost of Nissan-Spare Datsun components, its service network hasn’t always been the best, which has diminished the appeal of this budget-friendly hatchback.
