Electric Maruti cars: Your trusted carmaker is all set to launch its first electric vehicle, details here

Electric Maruti cars: Currently, Tata Motors is the leading seller of electric vehicles in the nation, but this position may soon change. Maruti Suzuki has stated that it will release its first electric vehicle. The Economic Times said that this Maruti electric vehicle could be available by 2025. The report states that its manufacturing will take place at the company’s site in Gujarat, and that production may begin in 2024 or 2025.

The business hasn’t revealed many specifics about its first electric vehicle. However, it is clear from EV technology and pricey batteries that the first Maruti electric car will cost more than Rs 10 lakh. According to Maruti Suzuki, testing of its new EV, which is being developed with consideration for the Indian environment, has been going on for a while.

Electric cars from Maruti: Engine and the Price range:

According to rumours, Suzuki and Toyota would collaborate to create the mid-size SUV that will be Maruti’s first electric vehicle. It can be displayed in the 2023 Auto Expo in concept form. There are two battery options available: 48kWh and 59kWh. The latter can provide a range of up to 500 km, while the former can only provide a range of about 400 km.

According to rumours, Maruti’s first electric vehicle will be based on the Grand Vitara. Informing us that the Grand Vitara will debut in September 2022 would be appreciated. The first Maruti Suzuki model to feature a potent hybrid powertrain will be this one. The 1.5L TNGA petrol engine with Intelligent Hybrid Technology and the 1.5L K15C DualJet engine with Smart Hybrid System will both be available. Price estimates for the Maruti Grand Vitara SUV range from Rs. 9.50 Lakh to Rs. 15.50 Lakh (All, Ex-showroom).
