Hero Vida Electric Scooter: A two-wheeler that is more than just a scooter, read on to know the USPs of this beauty

Hero Vida Electric Scooter: One of the most anticipated introductions this year was the Vida electric scooter, which came from India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. even more so considering that this will be the company’s debut launch of an electric two-wheeler.

In the upcoming years, Hero MotoCorp intends to release a number of EV goods as well as associated services. These include Vida Mobility, Vida Electric, Vida MotoCorp, Vida EV, Vida Motorcycles, and Vida Scooters, among other trademark names.

Teaser of Hero Motocorp

Launch date

The introduction of the Vida electric scooter was planned for July 1. Launch has to be postponed, though, because of the current global shortage of auto parts like semiconductors. Hero MotoCorp has decided to delay the launch of the Vida EV until October 7 in order to avoid potential problems like delivery delays.
Recent delivery delays have forced some EV companies to deal with angry customers. Hero MotoCorp doesn’t want to put its consumers through any of these problems. Delaying the debut is preferable to taking reservations and keeping them waiting. Hero MotoCorp has released the first launch teaser for its new Vida electric scooter ahead of its formal introduction.

Vida electric scooter USPs

With Hero MotoCorp, terms like affordability and dependability are synonymous. These advantages will probably also be offered to the Vida line of EVs. The company has so far been able to keep things tightly under wraps that not many specifics regarding the scooter are currently known.
But it’s likely that the Vida electric scooter will have a sporty look as well as a number of practical features. A mid-ship mounted engine that transmits power to the rear wheels using a belt drive system may be the source of power for the Hero Vida Electric scooter. The scooter will likely have 12-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels made of alloy. The suspension system will have swingarms at the back and telescopic forks up front.

Battery swapping

Unlike other electric scooters like Ola, Ather, Chetak, and iQube, which use non-detachable battery packs, the Vida is anticipated to have a removable battery option. Hero MotoCorp has joined forces with Gogoro, a Taiwanese business that specialises in setting up and maintaining infrastructure for battery changing.
Although battery changing is very common in Taiwan, it is unknown whether it will be successful in India. Battery changing has many advantages for consumers, including a lower total cost of ownership. Customers don’t have to worry about things like battery maintenance and replacement, and the wait time for battery refuelling is decreased.
