Honda Elevate crash test: With ADAS features and advanced body frame, this SUV passes global safety standards comfortably; Check details

Honda Elevate crash test: Car safety has become a crucial consideration in customer decision-making as a result of increased knowledge. People’s knowledge of the safety features of various cars has been greatly aided by organisations like Global NCAP. Additionally, the government has been attempting to enforce higher safety standards throughout the nation. OEMs are attempting to strengthen and crash-proof their vehicles as safety becomes a priority. The recently unveiled Honda Elevate is a pertinent example. Elevate has undergone internal crash testing, Honda said during a media event. Furthermore, it complies with all applicable international safety regulations.

Internally conducted crash tests

Kunal Behl, Operating Head – Marketing & Strategy at Honda Cars India Ltd., disclosed that their Elevate complies with international safety requirements at the ongoing media drive event for the new Elevate. In terms of performance in internally performed crash tests, the Honda Elevate has achieved the highest level of collision safety. Elevate has been put through a number of crash tests during internal testing, including a front (offset) crash test at 64 kmph with a child dummy, a side moving barrier test at 50 kmph, a flat barrier test at 50 kmph, a side pole impact test at 32 kmph, a rear moving barrier test at 50 kmph, and a front (offset) test at 64 kmph. Honda asserts that Elevate performed as expected in each of these tests.

Honda Elevate crash test: In-house

Elevate conducts internal crash testing that also examine pedestrian safety. It consists of a head impact test and a leg impact test. Officially passing the AIS100 Pedestrian Protection Test is Elevate. Elevate has also been developed to deal with light crash occurrences in an efficient manner. Such minor impact incidents are likely to cause some deformations. However, internal components will carry on operating regularly. Users can therefore anticipate driving their cars normally following minor collisions. This takes away the chance of getting lost.
