Engine details

A 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine will power the new Honda Elevate, producing 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of maximum torque. This engine will probably have a 6-speed manual and CVT automated gearbox. In addition to this, the business can also make it available in mild hybrid technology.

The Maruti Grand Vitara is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that comes in two different hybrid configurations: a mild hybrid with 103 PS and a strong hybrid with 116 PS and self-charging capability. Only a manual gearbox and the 1.5-litre engine are used with the CNG kit, which results in an output of 121.5Nm and 88PS. 26.6 km/kg is how much fuel it uses per kilogramme. The mild hybrid is linked to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, with an additional AllGrip all-wheel-drive (AWD) system available that is only compatible with the manual gearbox. An automated gearbox, the eCVT, is used to gear the robust hybrid engine from Toyota. While the mild hybrid powertrain can achieve up to 21.11 kmpl, the strong hybrid system is rated to achieve 27.97 kmpl.

Features

This teaser image makes it very evident that the business will not be including a panoramic sunroof in its future vehicle. Other features visible in the teaser image include a shark fin antenna, body-coloured ORVMs, and roof tails. The SUV will also get an LED strip in the back that will connect the taillights to the Elevate badging. In India, Honda only offers 2 models at the moment.

A heads-up display, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, heated front seats, and a digital driver display are all included in the Grand Vitara’s standard equipment. A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an electronic stability programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, and up to six airbags are included. Along with those features, it also has ISOFIX child-seat anchors, a 360-degree camera, and hill-descent control.

Price in India

The Honda Elevate is anticipated to cost between 10.5 lakh and 20 lakh rupees.

Grand Vitara pricing begins at Rs. 10.70 Lakh. Grand Vitara is available in 17 versions and 10 colour schemes.
