Hyundai Kona Electric 2024: Hyundai is expected to launch the next generation Kona Electric. The company has released some hints of the specifications of the upcoming vehicle. The company aims to build on the vehicle’s afdfordability this time. Here, we will al the upgrades that the latest Kona Electric is getting this time.

The noteworthy higlight of the next generation Kona Electric is its aerodynamic design. The car’s nose is much sleeker and Daytime running LED light now covers the full width of the vehicle. The comapany seems to be gone for evolutionary changes rather than revoolutionary changes.The vehicle has adopted some elements from the Ioniq 5.
Taking about the performance, the vehicle only gets some incremental changes. It now offers a more smooth ride with the drag coefficient of 0.27. The vehicle is equipped with a 64.8 kWh battery pack which provides the drive range of 260 miles. The new Kona Electric charges from 10 to 80% in just 43 minutes approximately.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the vehicle gets a dual 12.3 inch screens for the infotainment and instrument cluster and ambient lightings. The vehcile is still based on the Hyndai’s K3 Platform which was originally made for gas vehicles instead of advance Electric Global Modular Architecture (E-GMP) in newer models like the Ioniq 5.
The bookings for the upcoming model are expected to open in late fall 2023. We have no information about the pricing of the vehicle yet. Manufacturing of the vehicle will take place in South Korea and Czechia.
