Three different engines are available from Hyundai: a 1.2-litre petrol engine (83PS/114Nm) paired with a five-speed manual transmission, a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine (120PS/172Nm) paired with a six-speed iMT or an optional seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic), and an upgraded 1.5-litre diesel engine (116PS/250Nm) paired only with a six-speed manual transmission. No diesel-auto or CNG variations.

The Nexon offers two different engine options: a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine with 110PS and 260Nm and a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol unit with 120PS and 170Nm. Both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or an automatic manual transmission.

Features

The Venue has a tonne of features, including a sunroof, an air purifier, a 4-way powered driver seat, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8-inch touchscreen. The list also includes wireless phone charging, automatic air conditioning, push-button start/stop, and a cooled glove box. It has up to four airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a hill-hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control.

The Altroz’s three-spoke steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment system are carried over to the Nexon, along with added functions like cruise control, auto headlights and wipers, and linked car tech. Other standard features include rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, electronic stability control, and i-RA voice assistant.

Price in India

The venue is available in 16 variations and 7 colour choices. The cost of a Venue petrol model ranges from Rs. 7.67 Lakh to Rs. 13.11 Lakh, while that of a Venue diesel model starts at Rs. 10.39 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 13.06 Lakh. Automatic models for venues are available in 2 configurations and start at Rs. 11.36 Lakh.

Nexon has 61 versions and 8 colour choices. Nexon diesel variants are priced starting at Rs. 9.99 Lakh and the top diesel model is priced at Rs. 14.34 Lakh. Nexon petrol models have priced between Rs. 7.79 Lakh and Rs. 12.99 Lakh. There are 27 different Nexon automatic versions available, with prices starting at Rs. 9.44 Lakh.
