Things that the Maruti Suzuki Jimny lacks

1. Lacks a powerful engine

A 1.5-litre petrol engine with naturally aspirated combustion and 134Nm of torque is standard on the Jimny. The Mahindra Thar’s powertrains all offer more torque than this, with a total of over 300Nm. The low-end torque is useful for off-road driving because it allows you to navigate challenging terrain.

2. No RWD option

Zeta and Alpha are the two versions of the Maruti Jimny that were released. In both models, the firm offers a 4X4 drive system as standard equipment. Let us inform you that none of its models has a rear-wheel drive (RWD) system. Due to competition, this SUV may become pricey. In addition, the 4X4 system won’t be very practical for folks who wish to purchase it for everyday usage.

3. Lacks a few features

It does not include necessary equipment like a front armrest, rear armrest, bottle holder, headlamp washer or tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) from the manufacturer.
