Kia Sonet X Line: The new and sleek SUV with some extraordinary features is about to hit the road, launch date and details here

Kia Sonet X Line: According to the most recent teasers, Kia’s most recent model for our market will be the Sonet’s X Line variant (which is most likely to be based on the top-spec GTX+ trim). We currently have access to some of the new sub-4 metre SUV’s external details.

According to our sources, the Sonet X Line will feature the same matte-finish graphite exterior colour as the Seltos X Line, which will be a first for the segment. In addition, the front grille will have a gloss black finish, the front and rear skid plates will have piano black finishes, and the housing for the fog lamps will be black.

Specifications

The side door metal garnish, new alloy wheel designs, “X Line” emblems, and silver brake callipers are just a few of the outward alterations that will be made. No interior information is available, however according to our sources, the Sonet X Line will also have blue upholstery like the Seltos X Line. It is anticipated to have the same features as the GTX+ trim with the highest specifications.

The same engine options as the GTX+ model should be available for the Sonet X Line. These are the 1.5-liter diesel engine and the 1-liter turbo-diesel engine, both of which produce 120 PS and 172 Nm (up to 115PS and 250Nm). For the turbo-petrol, their respective gearbox configurations are a six-speed iMT (clutchless manual) and a seven-speed DCT, and for the diesel, a six-speed MT and a six-speed AT.

The Kia Sonet X Line is anticipated to be on sale in September. The X Line models could be priced between 25,000 and 30,000 rupees higher than their GTX+ equivalents. The Hyundai Venue N Line can be thought of as a near substitute even if it won’t have any direct competitors as such.
