KIA Sorento debut in India

At the 2023 Auto Expo, the Kia Sorento SUV is anticipated to make its Indian debut. The Sorento is available in two different powertrain configurations on international markets: a 2.2L diesel powertrain and a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.6L petrol engine with a 60bhp electric motor that is powered by a 1.5kWh battery pack. The hybrid powertrain has 230 horsepower of power, while the diesel variant has 202 bhp.

The pricing of the Kia Sorento premium SUV when it debuts in India is predicted to be in the range of Rs 45 lakhs. After its debut in India, it will compete against vehicles like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and others.

Carnival Facelift

The Carnival facelift was unveiled by Kia in 2021 across the globe, while the Indian debut is most likely to take place at the Auto Expo in 2023. The Carnival is currently available with three different engine options: a 3.5L V6 MPi petrol, a new 2.2L Smartstream, and a 3.5L GDi V6 Smartstrem. However, the facelifted model for India is anticipated to only be available with the 2.2L diesel engine, which produces 200bhp of power and 440Nm of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Many new technologies and a superior safety package, such as front collision avoidance assist, surround view monitor, blind spot assist, etc., will be included in the Kia Carnival facelift.
