KTM 125 Duke vs Lexmoto RSS 125 Street: Two of the best in class compared in depth to help you choose the best, read on for details

KTM 125 Duke vs Lexmoto RSS 125 Street: The KTM 125 Duke is a very popular performance-oriented 125cc bike all over the world. But it has to deal with tough competition from the British company Lexmoto and its newest model, the RSS 125 Street. Today, for ease of use, we compare it to the KTM 125 Duke for India. How do they compare? Let’s find out.

The KTM 125 Duke looks very modern, with a sharp design, a lot of sharp angles, and, of course, KTM’s trademark orange colour. The Lexmoto RSS 125 Street, on the other hand, has a retro look with its round LED headlight, large tank, easy-to-reach handlebar, and flat, one-piece seat.

Both bikes are geared towards performance and have 125cc engines that are cooled by liquid. But the KTM has a little more power than the RSS (14.5PS vs. 14.2) And at 159 kg (kerb), it’s 4 kg lighter than the RSS 125, which should, in theory, also make it faster.

The standard fork and tubular steel chassis on the Lexmoto aren’t as good as the USD fork and split trellis frame on the KTM. Both have front and rear disc brakes, but KTM is better because it comes with ABS as standard.

Lexmoto makes up for lost ground in this area by giving the bike an LED headlight. The India-spec Duke only has a halogen headlight, but both bikes have LED turn signals and taillights. Also, the 125 Duke’s instrument panel is still an LCD, but the RSS 125’s is a TFT. The KTM 125 Duke for the international market, on the other hand, has a TFT console and the same LED headlight as the KTM 390 Duke.

Price of KTM 125 Duke and Lexmoto RSS 125 Street

The Lexmoto RSS 125 costs GBP 2899.99, which is about Rs 2.89 lakh. In comparison, the KTM 125 Duke costs Rs 1,78,041. (ex-showroom, Delhi). And since Lexmoto doesn’t have a presence in India, it makes sense for people who want a premium, performance-oriented 125cc bike to buy the KTM 125 Duke, which is the company’s most affordable bike in India.
