Mahindra launches Bolero Neo in India, with prices starting at Rs 8.48 lakh

Mahindra’s Bolero Neo has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The TUV300’s spiritual descendant is available in six colours and three versions-N4, N8, and the N10.

The customers can choose from six different colour options — Rocky Beige, Majestic Silver, Highway Red, Pearl White, Diamond White and Napoli Black. Another exterior colour option — Royal Gold — will be introduced soon.

The new Mahindra Bolero Neo gets a revised exterior design with changes including a new six-slat chrome grille, a redesigned front bumper, reworked headlamps, larger air dam, fog lights, new silver alloy wheels, a new spoiler, black tail-gate handle, and new Bolero Neo and N10 variant badges.

The seven-seat SUV has been launched in the country ahead of its anticipated debut on 15 July. The vehicle is available across all Mahindra dealerships in the country.

Below are variant-wise Mahindra Bolero Neo prices (ex-Showroom, Delhi)

Bolero Neo N4 – Rs 8.48 lakh
Bolero Neo N8 – Rs 9.48 lakh
Bolero Neo N10 – Rs 10 lakh

Mechanically, the Bolero Neo comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 100PS and 260Nm (+20Nm). It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels. While it doesn’t get 4WD, Mahindra is offering a mechanical locking rear differential on the top-spec N10 (O).

The Bolero Neo is essentially a facelift for the TUV300, however, it has now been positioned as the premium version of the original Bolero.

In terms of safety highlights, Bolero Neo gets airbags as standard for the driver and co-pdriver. Rear parking sensor, ABS, EBD and Cornering Brake Control (CBC) is also standard while ISOFIX and DRLs are optional.

Being a sub-four-meter SUV, Bolero Neo will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, among others.

The company will soon introduce the optional N10 (O) with multi terrain technology (manual lock differential).
