Mahindra & Mahindra has launched all new Thar and XUV700 SUVs in India in the last 18 months and the new generation SUV is being eagerly awaited. Among the three, it is the oldest Mahindra SUV in the market and is about to complete 20 years in India. The company can now launch the all-new Scorpio in June 2022, which will be the 20th anniversary of this SUV. In the viral photos seen in the past, this new SUV looks quite large in size and the new Scorpio has completely changed compared to the current model. Recently, it was reported that a new feature has been added to the Scorpio, these are sequential turn indicators which are often seen in expensive cars. The new generation 2022 Mahindra Scorpio has been spotted several times during testing in India. According to a media report, Mahindra's new Scorpio can be brought in the market under the name Scorpio Sting or Mahindra Scorpio. Mahindra has decided to continue selling the existing model with the new Scorpio. This means that the new Scorpio will not replace the current model. The most important of the other features that the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will get could be the advanced driver assistance system as seen in the recently launched Mahindra XUV700. This feature is also expected to be available in the top model of the car. Here customers can also get hi-tech features like 10-speaker audio system, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED lights all over, 6 airbags and connected car technology. The company is also going to provide a 360-degree camera with this car, which will make the new Scorpio a great SUV in terms of safety. Talking about the features, the SUV can possibly get features like multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging. The new generation Scorpio can be found with a 2.0-litre mHawk turbo petrol making 155 bhp power and 360 Nm of peak torque and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine making 150 bhp power and 300 Nm of peak torque. . The company can offer 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox to both these engine options.
