Mahindra Thar: Once more, the Mahindra Thar 5-door has been spotted. The spy photos, however, this time reveal the interior of the SUV in great detail.

All about Mahindra Thar 5-Door

The cabin of the Thar 5-door resembles that of the already available 3-door model. The air-conditioning module and two circular vents are located in the centre console. Although this test vehicle lacks a touchscreen, it has room for an infotainment system.

The 5-door Thar has a big centre armrest and strongly bolstered front seats, just like the 3-door variant. The headrests on the second-row seats are adjustable, and the overall amount of legroom in the back looks to be plenty.

The engine choices for the Thar 5-door will be the same as those for the 3-door model. These include a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 150 BHP and 300–320 Nm and a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 130 BHP and 300 Nm. It is expected that both engines will be available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.

It's anticipated that the Thar 5-door will go on sale sometime in 2023. It will face off against the Force Gurkha and the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
