Mahindra XUV400 vs Tata Nexon EV: In this article, we will compare two of the best electric SUVs available in the Indian market. The Mahindra XUV400 launched recently whereas the Tata Nexon EV has been available in the market for a long time. Let’s compare them and see which one is better.

Battery and Motor

A 34.5kWh or 39.4kWh battery pack is available for the XUV400 EV. 310Nm and 150PS are produced by the single electric motor that is connected to these batteries. The MIDC claims that the smaller battery has a range of 375 km and the larger battery has a range of 456 km.

In the Nexon, a 40.5kWh battery pack is connected to an electric motor, which generates 143PS and 250Nm. It now claims to have an enhanced ARAI range of 453km. The two charging choices that the electric SUV supports are 3.3kW and 7.2kW, with charge periods of 15 hours and six hours, respectively. Additionally, the battery can be recharged from 0% to 80% in just 56 minutes when utilising a 50kW DC fast charger.

Features

A 17.78 cm entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is included in the Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV. In addition, the Bluesense Plus app, which connects to more than 60 mobile app-based features, is included in it. Additionally, it will have auto headlights, smartwatch connectivity, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, connected car technology with OTA updates and a single-pane sunroof, leatherette seats, a height-adjustable driver seat, a rear wiper, and a washer. Storage with a front armrest and storage with a rear armrest are two additional features.

Nexon’s list of equipment includes an air purifier, a wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a seven-inch touchscreen entertainment system. Ventilated front seats and cruise control are additional features.

Price in India

The Mahindra XUV400 EV costs between Rs. 15.99 Lakh and Rs. 18.99 Lakh. There are three variants of the Mahindra XUV400 EV.

The price for the Nexon EV Max begins at 16.49 lakh rupees. With 3 colour options, Nexon EV Max is available in 6 versions.
