Maruti Grand Vitara CNG: Price hike announced for this SUV that gives 26.6 km/kg of mileage and 87 bhp of power, all details here

Maruti Grand Vitara CNG: In September of last year, Maruti Suzuki, the largest automaker in the nation, introduced its new SUV, the Grand Vitara. For the first time since the car’s introduction on the domestic market, the business has raised the price. At the time of launch, the firm had put the initial pricing of this SUV at Rs 10.45 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom). Currently, the business has raised the price of the Maruti Grand Vitara by over 30,000 rupees.

Hike in Sigma model of Maruti Grand Vitara

Pricing for the base Sigma model of the Maruti Grand Vitara now start from Rs. 10.70 lakhs, which was earlier Rs. 10.45 lakhs. At the same time, the price of Delta variant has been hiked by roughly Rs 25,000 and now its pricing starts from Rs 12.10 lakh. The price of Zeta and Alpha variants has been increased by just Rs 2,000, their price starts from Rs 13.91 lakh and Rs 15.41 lakh respectively.

CNG options is the Maruti Grand Vitara

The first SUV in the nation with CNG options is the Maruti Grand Vitara. This car comes in a total of two trim levels for the CNG version, Delta and Zeta. Prices have increased by Rs 20,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively, by the corporation. Its current pricing ranges between Rs. 13.05 lakh to Rs. 14.86 lakh. Formerly, they were priced at 12.85 and 14.84 lakh rupees, respectively. While the hybrid version’s starting price has increased by Rs 30,000 to Rs 18.29 lakh, it still costs more.

Maruti Grand Vitara CNG: Engine and powertrain

The business uses a 1.5-liter petrol engine with naturally aspirated combustion that produces 103 bhp of power and 136 Nm of torque in the Grand Vitara. While in CNG mode, this engine produces 87 bhp of power and 121.5 Nm of torque, a slight reduction in power output. On this SUV, there is only one engine option with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Mileage and technology

According to the manufacturer, the strong hybrid model may achieve up to 27.97 kilometres per litre while the moderate hybrid model can achieve 19 to 21 kilometres per litre. In contrast, the firm claims that the CNG version of this SUV offers up to 26.6 km/kg of mileage. This Vehicle was developed by the company using a futuristic design aesthetic. The use of cutting-edge features and technology has been carefully considered in this.
