Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: A new advanced CNG variant to launch in India soon, details here

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Maruti Alto, the largest automaker in India, would soon offer the K-10 in CNG as well. The future CNG model may come with a 1 litre K10-C engine and Celerio, according to the information. The Alto K-10 will be among the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the hatchback sector if the new Alto averages up to 35 km/kg in CNG. The ARAI certified mileage for the petrol manual Alto K-10 is 24.39 km/l, while the mileage with AGS is 24.90 km/l.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Expensive than before

The CNG version of the Alto K-10 might cost up to Rs 1 lakh more than the gasoline version. Its petrol version’s ex-showroom starting price has been set at Rs 3.99 lakh. The highest model of the hatchback has an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.83 lakh. The firm presently offers the Alto K10 in four different configurations: Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi Plus.

The 1 litre K10-C engine of the Alto K-10 automobile has the power to produce 56 PS and 82 Newton metres of torque. In contrast, the Alto K-10’s gasoline variant produces 67 PS and 89 Newton metres of torque. AGS and a 5-speed manual gearbox are options for the petrol variant.

Competitors

If the Alto K-10 is made available in CNG, it will directly compete with the Tata Tiago CNG on the Indian auto market. Other pricey Maruti vehicles include the S Presso CNG, Wagon-R CNG, and Celerio CNG. The CNG will be opposed by the new Alto K-10.

With the new Alto K-10 CNG, Maruti will diversify its product line. Cars including the Celerio CNG, Wagon R CNG, Alto 800 CNG, S Presso CNG, Swift CNG, Dzire CNG, Eeco CNG, and Ertiga CNG are currently part of Maruti’s lineup. Additionally, it is anticipated that Maruti would offer the CNG versions of the Brezza and Baleno in the near future.
