Maruti Suzuki Jimny: This segment sees a steady stream of new SUV launches. To solve this gap, Maruti Suzuki also introduced a brand-new 5-door SUV. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 door is the name given by the manufacturer to this SUV. 

The manufacturer unveiled it at the Auto Expo 2023. In addition to publishing it at the same time, the business had also begun booking it.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny specifications

The manufacturer has installed a 1.5 litre K-15-B petrol engine in the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 door. The maximum power and torque this engine is capable of producing are 103 Bhp and 134 Nm, respectively. Additionally, this engine comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. This off-road SUV's options from the manufacturer additionally include 2-wheel drive high, 4-wheel drive high, and 4-wheel drive low.

Features

Numerous modern features will be included in the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 door. It comes with a 9-inch Smartplay Pro Plus touchscreen information system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a head-up display, an Arkamys sound system, a 360-degree camera, and steering-mounted controls.

It will include features including an All Black Dashboard, Hill Descent Control, 6 Airbags, Hill Hold Assist, Anti Lock Braking System, and Electronic Brake Distribution. The cost of the company's top off-road SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 door, has not yet been made public. However, it is anticipated to enter the market soon.

Price in India

The offroader is anticipated to cost Rs 12 lakh and is expected to go on sale in May 2023. Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha are seen as direct competitors.
