Maruti YTB SUV to launch in Feb 2023 with Booster-jet Engine

Maruti YTB SUV: The new Brezza sub-4 metre SUV from Maruti Suzuki was just released, and it offers a number of industry-leading innovations and an improved interior. In September 2022, the company plans to introduce the redesigned Grand Vitara SUV. MSIL is also developing a brand-new coupe SUV for the Indian market under the codename YTB. The Baleno Cross is another name for the Maruti YTB Coupe SUV.

For the first time, the Maruti YTB SUV Coupe has been seen in testing. It is expected to be launched in January 2023 at the Delhi Auto Expo. Before March 2023, or before the end of FY23, the SUV Coupe is anticipated to debut. At the 2023 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki is also expected to introduce the redesigned 5-door LWB Jimny.

The Futuro-e concept, which was exhibited at the 2020 Auto Expo, will be realised in the Maruti Suzuki YTB Coupe SUV. The model that was observed was completely covered in thick material, which concealed few design elements. The SUV Coupe’s front fascia has headlamps and daytime running lamps that resemble those on the recently revealed Grand Vitara. A clear SUV-coupe design is evident from the windscreen’s rake and the roofline’s slope.

The grille design appears to be the same as the Grand Vitara, but it has narrower chrome surround and components that are studded with chrome. The SUV Coupe has a split headlight design with the main LED headlamp on the lower bumper and crisp LED DRLs on top. The lower bumper has wider air-dam. It gets squarish wheel arches and diamond-cut alloys along with ORVMs with integrated LED indicators.

According to reports, the new Maruti YTB SUV-Coupe would ride on the same HEARTECT platform as the new Baleno from Maruti Suzuki. According to the rumour, Suzuki’s Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine would power the new vehicle. For those who don’t know, Maruti Suzuki briefly offered the Baleno RS with the 1.0L Boosterjet engine. MSIL will reintroduce its turbo-petrol power in the SUV Coupe. A 1.5-liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine with a manual and automatic gearbox powers the new Brezza. A higher level of electrification will also be included with the new Boosterjet petrol engine.

According to the rumour, the new SUV-Coupe would be on sale in February 2023 and make its world debut in January 2023 at the Delhi Auto Expo. The new model will be sold through Maruti’s NEXA premium dealership network and will be positioned above the Baleno hatchback. Toyota is also most likely to release its own YTB SUV Coupe in the nation.
