MotoGP Bharat 2023: The very first batch of racing motorcycles have arrived in India, the bikes have reached Budhha International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The MotoGP Bharat is scheduled to be organized on September 22-24.
The event is happening for the first time in India. The first batch of all the superbikes, tyres, safety barriers and engine have landed in Delhi via air freight and later transported to delhi.
Around 40 teams will participate in MotoGP Bharat with 80 riders across Moto 3, Moto2 and MotoGP categories. This while, the race track has recieved major upgrades for the arrival of the renowned two-wheeled championship.
On the occasion, Amit Sandill, the Indian promoters of MotoGP, said, “The arrival of equipment has added to the excitement of the race. Most of the bikes for the event landed in New Delhi and were transported to the Buddh International Circuit under heavy police security. The remaining bikes and equipment will arrive in the next lot.”
Renowned superbike manufactures including Ducati, Yamaha, Aprilia, Honda and KTM are the engine suppliers in MotoGP Bharat 2023 with around 10 teams and 22 riders on the grid. The event will see the participatio of world’s top racers like Frencesco Bagnaia of Ducati, Brad Binder of KTM and Marc Marquez of Honda. The event will also be broadcasted live on Sports18 and people will also be able to live stream the event on Jio Cinema.
