New SUVs: All about these upcoming brand new SUVs, they will steal your heart

New SUVs: A number of new models are scheduled to be released in the upcoming months as we approach the holiday season. Given the increased customer demand for SUVs, the nine SUVs planned for release by Diwali this year are not surprising.

There are a variety of new models being released by manufacturers like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India, Toyota Kirloskar, and others, including facelifts, special editions, hybrids, and all-electric SUVs. Here is a brief preview of upcoming events.

Hyundai Venue N-Line

The Venue N Line, which is scheduled to go on sale in India on September 6th, will be Hyundai’s second N Line model. The Venue N Line, like the i20 N Line, will only have a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, and the sole available gearbox is a 7-speed DCT unit. It will be available in two trim levels, N6 and N8, and is anticipated to include a sportier exhaust and suspension setup. Additionally, there will be exterior changes like sharper bumpers, fresh paint, N Line badges, as well as interior changes like new upholstery, red highlights, and aluminium pedals.

Mahindra XUV400 EV

The XUV400 EV, an electric variant of the ICE-powered XUV300 that takes design cues from the eXUV300 concept that was on display at the 2020 Auto Expo, would be the spearhead of Mahindra’s new EV assault for India. However, in contrast to the XUV300, the XUV400 will be longer than four metres (about 4.2m), considering that electric vehicles are not entitled to the tax incentives for vehicles under four metres. There are currently little technical specifics, although it is most likely to have a single, 150 horsepower electric motor positioned on the front axle. Additionally, Mahindra’s AdrenoX infotainment system and ADAS capabilities are anticipated to be included. The Tata Nexon EV will be the direct target.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

Toyota’s first entry into the midsize SUV market, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, was introduced in July and will compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos for market supremacy. The Toyota Hyryder is distinctive in that it offers 1.5-liter mild and powerful hybrid petrol engines, the former of which even comes with an AWD system. It has traditional Toyota styling and is well-equipped inside as well. The powerful hybrid versions, though, are probably going to cost more. Since July, reservations have been being taken for the Hyryder.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s sibling, will closely resemble the latter. In actuality, Toyota and Maruti Suzuki jointly developed both vehicles, which the former would produce at its Bidadi plant. The outside appearance of each model is different, while the interiors are comparable with only slight trim variations. The Hyryder’s lineup of mild and powerful hybrid powertrains will also be used by the Grand Vitara. At Maruti’s R&D facility in Rohtak, we have already had a brief track experience with the Grand Vitara, which you can read about here. Also being taken are reservations for the Grand Vitara.
