The reason behind the OLA Electric Scooters price hike

Recall that the FAME-II subsidy was decreased by the government last month from 15 to 10 thousand per kWh, which has an impact on the cost of electric two-wheelers. Companies that produce electric two-wheelers are raising the ex-showroom price of their models in response to this government action.

Ola Electric raised the cost of the Ola S1 by Rs. 15,000; formerly, this scooter cost Rs. 1,14,999. Now, it costs Rs. 1,29,999.

The cost of Ola S1 Air has also gone up, from Rs 84,999 to Rs 99,999, at the same time. In addition, the Ola S1 Pro model will now cost Rs. 1 lakh 39 thousand 999 as opposed to Rs. 1 lakh 24 thousand 999.
