Renault EV to Launch in India by 2025

Recently, Renault India announced their ambitions to introduce a number of vehicles in the upcoming years. The unveiling of an A-segment electric car was the centrepiece of Renault’s most recent product plan, and the brand’s CEO has now formally committed 2025 as the launch year for what may end up being Renault’s first EV for the Indian market. The Dacia Spring and Renault City K-ZE, which are both effectively the electric version of the Kwid hatchback, are expected to share underpinnings with the upcoming A-segment EV because it will be in that sector.

Renault City K-ZE details

At the 2020 Auto Expo, Renault displayed the City K-ZE alongside the Zoe EV. Renault has a solid two years to create the next EV, therefore we anticipate it to feature significant localization to control costs. Given its compact size, it might be one of the most reasonably priced electric cars in the nation, undercutting the Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV.

While Renault hasn’t provided any technical information about the future EV, we may anticipate that it will resemble the Dacia Spring. The Dacia Spring, which is already available in many European markets, boasts a 26.8kWh battery pack and a stated range of 225km on a single charge.
