Engine details

A 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with turbocharger are the two powertrain choices for the Renault Kiger. The turbocharged engine generates 100 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque, while the normally aspirated engine produces 72 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission can be used with either of the engine configurations.

One diesel engine and two petrol engine options are available for the Hyundai Venue. The 1.5-litre diesel engine has been revised for the MY23 model and now generates 116PS/250Nm, while the petrol engines are an 83PS 1.2-litre petrol and a 120PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol. A manual transmission is an option for each of the three engines. The turbo-petrol engines come with a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT that are optional. 


Kiger receives a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch digital driver display, automated climate control, push-button start/stop, and LED headlights with DRLs. Also included are a wireless phone charger, cruise control (available on turbo models only), and a PM2.5 air filter (standard across all variants).

An eight-inch touchscreen with support for Alexa and Google voice assistants, an air purifier, automatic climate control, a cooled glovebox, and push-button start/stop are among the features of the Venue. Additional features include a single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charging, and a four-way electrically adjustable driver seat.

Price in India

The starting price of the Renault Kiger is Rs. 6.50 Lakh, while the maximum price is Rs. 11.23 Lakh. 19 variations of the Renault Kiger are available.

Hyundai Venue is available for a starting price of 7.68 lakhs and a maximum price of 13.11 lakhs. 16 variations of the Hyundai Venue are available.
