Royal Enfield Bullet 350: J-platform based all time favourite Bullet to launch on 30th August, all you must know

Royal Enfield Bullet 350

Royal Enfield Bullet 350: The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be built on the J-platform. The bike will be available with a 349cc engine producing 20 BHP and 27 Nm. The Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350 all have the same engine. The Bullet 350 will be equipped with spoked wheels, a standard telescopic fork up front, and twin shock absorbers in the rear. The braking system is planned to include a front disc and a rear drum.

Engine and powertrain

The redesigned Bullet is likely to be engine and otherwise identical to the existing Classic 350, with the only modifications being a single-piece seat, a revised tail-lamp, and the removal of the hood over the headlight. Expect the engine to produce the same 20hp and 27Nm that it does on the other J-platform vehicles, as well as the same chassis as the Classic.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350: Price and availability

What will be interesting to watch is the Bullet’s pricing and positioning. Royal Enfield has teased a forthcoming motorcycle that will be unveiled on 30 August. Prior to the arrival of the Hunter last year, the Bullet was the entry-level model in the Royal Enfield lineup, with the lowest price tag and the most basic feature set. With the Hunter now occupying the entry-level position (beginning at Rs 1.5 lakh), it is even more cheap than the current Bullet. Meanwhile, the Classic starts at Rs 1.93 lakh, leaving a significant gap in the middle. It remains to be seen where Royal Enfield will place the upgraded Bullet in this void.
