Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC & Super Meteor 650: These bikes are mean machines on the road, specs & latest looks here

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 LC And Super Meteor 650: While travelling down a highway in Tamil Nadu, Royal Enfield was seen testing the Super Meteor 650 and Himalayan 450 together on public highways. The locally based manufacturer of throwback motorcycles has been testing a number of new models, including the newest Bullet 350, a brand-new 450 cc scrambler, and three 650 cc bikes.

None of them have a set launch date yet, however it should be noted that the first one might be a brand-new 650 cc cruiser. Given that it has been spotted numerous times in a close-to-production state, its introduction is more likely to occur later this year. The brand-new Himalayan 450, which boasts a liquid-cooled engine, is believed to come next.

This time, the test mules for both motorcycles have been spotted together, providing a wealth of previously known details. The round headlamp, tail lamp, and turn signals on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, for instance, will all be LEDs. Compared to the current Himalayan 411, the taillight section and the rear end itself have a different appearance.

Features:

It has an entirely new architecture, an offset rear monoshock suspension, a higher fuel tank capacity, and metal braces around it. It seems to be powered by RE’s first-ever 450 cc liquid-cooled engine, which is capable of producing about 40 horsepower, and is coupled with a six-speed transmission that comes standard with a slipper and assist clutch.

Other notable features include wire-spoked wheels, a front beak, an upright handlebar position, a side-mounted exhaust system, a new luggage rack and grab rail, front and rear disc brakes assisted by a dual-channel ABS system, front and rear disc brakes, and a transparent windscreen.

Additionally, the Super Meteor 650 has relaxed forward-set footpegs, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a spherical LED tail lamp, and an LED headlamp.

The 648 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that powers the cruiser produces roughly 47 PS and 52 Nm of peak torque in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, and it’s possible that the performance figures will be comparable in the future Super Meteor.
