Royal Enfield Scram 411 specifications

Engine

Similar to the Himalayan, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 has a single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke 411cc engine that produces 24.3 Hp at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4250 rpm. The gearbox for this engine has five speeds. A 41mm telescopic front fork with 190mm of travel and a rear-linked mono-shock with 180mm of wheel travel are features of the Royal Enfield Scram 411. These forks have 10mm less travel than those on the Himalayan. The motorcycle has a smaller 19-inch front spoke wheel that is encased in a larger 100-section block pattern tyre, while the back has the same 17-inch wheel and 120-section tyre as the Himalayan. With 185 kg dry weight, the Scram 411 is 5 kg less than the Himalayan, even with the optional centre stand.

Design

Although the Royal Enfield Scram is based on the Himalayan, the bike manufacturer has made a few design changes to give it the appearance of a scrambler. Hence, it has 19/17-inch spoke wheels as opposed to the Himalayan’s 21/17-inch layout. Also, it has straightforward body panels and off-road-friendly accessories including high-set exhausts and serrated pegs.

Features

The semi-digital instrument on the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is identical to that on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Together with the usual information, it displays the clock and the gear position. Moreover, a Tripper turn-by-turn navigation pod is an optional addition to the bike.

Price in India

The Graphite Red, Graphite Yellow, and Graphite Blue colour variants of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 start at Rs 2.03 lakh.
