Sachin Tendulkar takes a ride in the world’s fastest electric car ‘Hyper GT Battista’ at Formula E Championship, Anand Mahindra responds

Hyper GT Battista: Hyderabad played host to the inaugural ceremony of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, where cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was spotted riding in the world’s fastest electric car. The event was opened by the unveiling of the full electric car, Hyper GT Battista by Mahindra & Mahindra, which was revealed to be the fastest electric car in the world. Tendulkar was given the opportunity to test drive the vehicle on the track and expressed his awe at the “amazing achievement by Anand Mahindra and his team.”

Tendulkar’s excitement towards electric vehicles was evident from a tweet he shared, which featured the video of his test drive. He remarked, “Are EVs the future? Pininfarina Battista has the perfect answer. It’s so fast, we challenged time and landed in the future.” Responding to this, Anand Mahindra, the country’s leading industrialist and Chairman of the Mahindra Group, commended Tendulkar’s statement and noted that the phrase ‘beats time and takes you into the future’ could be an excellent tagline for Batista.
