Tata Altroz EV: A futuristic EV that can disrupt the entire electric vehicle market in India, all you need to know

Tata Altroz EV: The Tata Altroz EV is anticipated to debut in India by January 2023. A 30.2kWh battery powers a permanent magnet, 127.2bhp electric AC motor. The single-speed gearbox that this unit is connected to is said to have a range of 250–300 km. The Tata Nexon EV and Tigor EV have the exact same configuration.

The EV version of the Altroz is anticipated to get a new lower grille that was inspired by digital technology, which will give the Altroz EV its distinctive appearance. In addition, it is likely to get new alloy wheels, a redesigned air dam, dual ultra-slim headlamps, a new teal blue color, electric blue accents everywhere, and no rear exhaust pipe.

Expected features

A contemporary aviation command centre with a seamless cockpit-like motif connected from end to end is anticipated for the Altroz EV’s cabin. In addition, it might get ambient lighting and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

With the Altroz EV, Tata Motors is anticipated to provide a 28kWh battery pack. It will therefore fit exactly in between the Tiago EV and Nexon EV Prime. The Nexon offers 2 battery pack options: 30.2kWh and 40.5kWh, whereas the Tiago EV offers 2 battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. If Tata Motors offers a choice of 2 battery packs with the Altroz EV as well, we won’t be shocked.
