Tata Nano EV to be launched in India soon? Likely to have redesigned body and modern features, all you need to know

Tata Nano EV: Citing sources, it is now known that the company can launch this small-sized electric car in India with adjustments to Nano's present platform, provided that they are within the range of the average person's budget and include an electric drivetrain, new suspension, and new tyres. No formal word has been made about the matter by Tata Motors.

Tata Nano EV details

The 2008-introduced Tata Nano will be available in India as the Tata Nano EV Vehicle. Even though it was intended to be the world's most cheap automobile, the Nano immediately became popular in India and other developing nations. The Nano EV Vehicle adopts an electric drivetrain to increase affordability to a new level while also making it even more economical and environmentally friendly to operate.

Expected specs and features

23 horsepower and 85 Nm of torque are produced by the Nano EV Vehicle's electric powertrain. It has a top speed of 110 km/h and a range of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge.

The car is expected to include fast charging, which will allow 80% of the battery to be charged in an hour. In comparison to other EVs on the market, it is projected that the car's price will be fairly reasonable.

Expected price in India

Tata Motors has been developing an electric Nano for some time, but the business hasn't yet announced a release date. It is believed that the car will cost roughly Rs. 5 Lakh.
