Tata Safari Facelift spotted being tested in Pune, expected specifications, features, and all we know so far

Tata Safari Facelift: Soon, Tata Motors intends to give its flagship vehicle, the Safari, a midlife makeover. The revised model has been put through rigorous road testing, and there are already some spy photos. Recently, new spy images of the Tata Safari facelift have surfaced online, giving us a surprisingly clear view of the SUV’s side and back faces.

Tata Safari Facelift’s new alloy wheels

In these photos, we can see the test mule’s front end in part. With a long LED DRL across the nose and updated primary headlamp modules, the split headlamp design will be updated. Additionally, it appears that the SUV has temporary headlights, which shows that it is still far from being a finished product.

In these images, we can see that the SUV will get a new set of alloy wheels that appear elegant and expensive. Despite the vehicle’s extensive camouflage, the taillamps’ design is still visible. Although we anticipate that the bumpers will be altered, we are unable to identify any more modifications on the test mule.

Expected powertrain details

The same 2.0L turbo diesel engine will continue to perform its functions (168 bhp, 350 Nm, 6MT, 6TC). Probably later on, Tata Motors will release a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine (170 horsepower, 280 Nm).

Features

Even the interior will see a few minor changes, and more special editions will come with models that have undergone a makeover. ADAS, a 360-degree camera, front- and back-seat ventilation, leather upholstery, a package for the rear seats’ entertainment, and a huge panoramic sunroof are probably the features that stand out the most.
