Tata Safari facelift powertrain details

A new 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 170 hp and 280 Nm torque is an option for this SUV. Additionally, the currently available 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine will still remain an option. Both a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox will be available for it.

Features

The interior of the Safari facelift is also anticipated to undergo significant improvements. A new 10.25-inch display similar to the Red Dark Edition and a redesigned two-spoke steering wheel from the Nexon makeover may also be added.

Design details

It is evident from the Safari facelift’s testing unit that the exterior has been changed. It will have vertical main headlamps in the bumper, a full broad LED light bar extended across the bonnet and LED headlamps with LED DRLs. There will also be an integrated air vent in the cluster and a black-out fix for the area around the headlamp housing. Additionally, it receives a brand-new bumper and grille with thin horizontal slats. The new spy image shows twin five-spoke alloy wheels that have been blacked up, but there haven’t been many significant modifications to the appearance. New, thinner, and linked LED taillamps as well as a slightly modified rear bumper are likely to be added to the Safari.
