Tata Tiago NRG CNG: Top On Safety, Power And Design, Can This New Model Turn The Tide

Tata Tiago NRG CNG: The Tata Motors PV portfolio includes Tiago, which has a significant role. The vehicle that carried and reflected the soul of the original indica. Despite having Indica in its name, Vista didn’t do that. Tiago has the potential to be remembered as the one vehicle that saved Tata.

Tata Motors began its path to becoming what it is today with Tiago, Tigor, and then Nexon. Tata introduced Tiago NRG, a crossover based on the Tiago, to capitalise on the crossover wave that the Polo Cross, Etios Cross, Avventura, and i20 Active helped popularise in India.

This variation has increased ground clearance and body cladding. Prior to this, the Tiago NRG was only offered in the highest-end XZ trim. Tata recently added an NRG pack to the Tiago XT trim.

Tata opened up this crossover proposition to a wider audience with this move. Tata is currently combining Tiago NRG and its iCNG technology. The update was provided by Motor Arena India, with thanks.

Tiago NRG CNG launched

The Tiago NRG CNG’s launch has been announced to Tata Motors dealers. Tata Motors stated in this publication that “customers have praised the Tiago NRG styling and SUV design ever since its launch. It received a facelift and BS6 upgrade in 2021, enhancing its premium and allure. With its best-in-class Features, driveability, Safety, and Comfort, it has raised the bar for its segment.

The current Tiago NRG XT and XZ cost Rs. 6.42 lakh and Rs. 6.83 lakh, respectively. A similar price can be anticipated for Tiago NRG CNG given that the CNG versions of the regular Tiago cost Rs 91k more than their petrol counterparts. If so, the Tiago NRG XT CNG and NRG XZ CNG could cost Rs. 7.33 lakh and Rs. 7.74 lakh, respectively. Prices are all ex-sh.

Tata Dealerships will begin accepting payments for Tiago NRG CNG today. The 1.2L petrol engine in the Tiago NRG CNG will produce 72 bhp and 95 Nm of torque when running on CNG. The tallest fuel efficiency figures are 26.4 km/kg. Official prices will be announced on the 1st fortnight of November and will be offered in Grey, White, Red, and Foliage Green colours.

XZ+ Leatherette Pack for Tigor

Tata has introduced a new Leatherette Pack in an effort to give its Tigor XZ+ trim a more upscale appearance. “Since the start of the year, Tigor has seen a phenomenal response from both Media & Customers with the launch of CNG Technology,” according to a statement from Tata Motors.

Its drivability, safety, and features have been praised, and this has led to an increase in sales and market share, making Tigor the No. 2 Sedan in the Country! We have surpassed sales of over 25K (growth of 230%) with a market share of 18% in H1 for FY 2022–23.

“With rising customer expectations, customer demand has been increasing, and customers want a more premium look and feel to their vehicle, which gives us an opportunity to grow volumes.” In addition to the Tigor XZ+ trim price, the Leatherette Pack adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium leatherette seats for a total of Rs. 25,000.
