The SUV has garnered excellent reviews in several foreign markets, with waiting times in certain areas reaching three years. According to reports, delivery in India would take a little over a year. The new Land Cruiser will be sold in India as a totally imported vehicle, much as the LC200.

Both a 3.3-liter diesel engine and a twin-turbo petrol V6 with 409 horsepower are available for the LC300 internationally. A 10-speed automatic transmission is connected to both engines. The LC300 made for India will only be equipped with the diesel engine.
