Toyota Urban Cruiser: tough competition on the cards for Hyundai Creta, Maruti Brezza & Vitara with the entry of this SUV

Toyota Urban Cruiser: Toyota unveiled its mid-side Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV last month. The business did not disclose its prices though. However, the company has now made its prices more transparent. There are two hybrid engines available for this SUV: a 1.5-liter mild hybrid and a 1.5-liter strong hybrid. It was introduced with both of these engines and both an automatic and manual transmission. It will be offered in a total of 15 variations.

The corporation has released the costs for 11 of the versions. The cost of the final 4 versions will be revealed at a later time. It will directly compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Vitara, and Maruti Brezza. So let’s immediately find out how much its variation costs.

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser has 1.5-liter gasoline mild hybrid engine


The first mild-hybrid gasoline engine in the sector will be installed in Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Highrider. Additionally, the mild hybrid version is the first in the sector to provide all-wheel drive. A 1.5-liter engine paired with an e-drive system powers the High Rider. Its engine has a 68 kW output and a maximum torque output of 122 Nm. Its motor output is capable of producing 141Nm of torque and 59 kW of power. Together, the two motors have an output capacity of 85 kW.

The outside of this small SUV from Toyota boasts a dual-tone paint job. That is, you will be able to purchase it in the colour combinations Red + Black or Blue + Black. It’s possible that it will come in a variety of colours when it launches. It gains a larger air dam, split LED DRLs, a chrome strip, and a larger bonnet. At the back, wraparound tail lamps are provided. Newly created dual-tone alloy wheels are on the SUV. Compared to a typical urban cruiser, it is longer.

Six airbags, ABS traction control with EBD, hill-hold, and hill start assist are all standard on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider. Other safety features include 360-degree cameras, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX mounting spots for child seats, three-point seat belts for both rows, and adjustable headrests. The New Brezza has nearly the same features. Although the firm has not yet announced its price, rumours indicate that it would range from 10 to 16 lakhs.
