Ultraviolette F77 EV: A futuristic bike that is going to debut soon – specs, price, hues and release date in India here

Ultraviolette F77 EV: The Bengaluru-based startup unveiled the F77 in November 2019, with deliveries set to begin in October 2020. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, things were pushed back. According to reports, the company has been up to in the meantime. In the early stages, Bengaluru will be targeted, followed by other cities in a cluster-based approach system.

The F77 is powered by a 25kW electric motor that produces 90Nm torque, making it the most powerful electric bike on the market in India right now. This allows the motorcycle to reach a top speed of 147 km/h, and its three removable lithium-ion battery packs allow the F77 to travel a claimed 150 km in real-world conditions. A trellis frame suspended on an upside down fork light and a mono-shock serve as the underpinnings. The F77 Ultraviolette has a 320mm front disc brake and a 230mm rear disc brake. Other features on the F77 include a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a bike locator, OTA updates, and a data-logging feature as standard.

Battery capacity and charging time

The Ultraviolette F77 has a 4kWh battery that can take up to five hours to fully charge. The rapid charge feature enables the batteries to be recharged to 80% in just 50 minutes.

The Ultraviolette F77 is expected to be released in January 2023, with an ex-showroom price of between Rs 3 lakh in India.
