Upcomming SUVs 2023: From Hyundai to Tata, these are some affordable SUVs to launch this year, all you must know

Upcomming SUVs 2023: In the past few years, the compact and midsize SUV segments have become very popular, and more automakers have joined them. This year, Hyundai is likely to release a brand-new small SUV, and the Punch CNG is also waiting to be released. Here, we’ve talked about two upcoming small SUVs that are expected to make a big splash:

1. Tata Punch CNG

At the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida last month, Tata Motors introduced the Punch CNG and Altroz CNG. Both will go on sale this year, and they have the first twin-cylinder technology in India. The big 60L CNG tank has been replaced with two 30L cylinders that are placed parallel to each other. The new arrangement doesn’t take away from the space in the trunk, and the spare wheel is now under the floor of the trunk. The well-known three-cylinder 1.2-litre gasoline engine will be used. Unlike most affordable CNGs on the market, the Punch CNG can be started even when it is in CNG mode.

2. Hyundai Micro SUV

Hyundai is likely to make a brand-new entry into the micro SUV market later this year, around the time of the holidays. It will reportedly be built on a modified version of the Grand i10 Nios’s platform, and it will probably get its power from the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine found in the Grand i10, Venue, and Aura.

The powertrain will be paired with a five-speed manual transmission or an automatic with five speeds. The upcoming Hyundai Ai3 will look a lot like the Casper, which is sold in other countries. It has already been seen testing a few times. On the outside, there will be a split headlamp cluster, H-shaped LED daytime running lights, angular LED tail lights, and new alloy wheels, among other things. The Hyundai Ai3 micro SUV will be about 3.8 metres long, and its wheelbase will be longer than that of the Casper. The inside will be full of features like a touchscreen infotainment system with connected tech, automatic climate control, a sunroof, adjustable headrests, multiple airbags, a layered dashboard, and so on.
