Bajaj Auto has launched the new Bajaj Pulsar N250SS in India at ₹1,59,406 (ex-showroom, Delhi), introducing several upgrades to its 250cc street motorcycle. The updated model gets a four-valve engine, a six-speed gearbox, a quickshifter and a new 5-inch TFT instrument console with Google Maps mirroring.
DON'T MISS
Positioned above the standard Pulsar N250, the N250SS brings changes to the powertrain, rider technology and convenience features while retaining the motorcycle’s familiar streetfighter design.
Bajaj Pulsar N250SS: Engine and Performance
The Pulsar N250SS is powered by an updated 249cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine with a four-valve head. It produces 25 PS of power and 22 Nm of torque, offering a modest increase over the standard N250’s output.
One of the major changes is the replacement of the previous five-speed gearbox with a six-speed transmission. The motorcycle also gets a standard quickshifter, branded as the Sports Shifter, which allows clutchless upshifts.
The additional gear is intended to provide greater flexibility across different riding conditions, including highway cruising, while the quickshifter enables faster gear changes during acceleration.
5-Inch TFT Display With Google Maps Mirroring
The new instrument console is another major addition to the Pulsar N250SS. Bajaj has replaced the standard model’s LCD unit with a 5-inch TFT display that supports Google Maps mirroring.
The console also offers Bluetooth-connected features, including call and SMS alerts, along with a lap timer and vehicle document storage, according to published reports. These features expand the information and connectivity available to riders.
