2026 Suzuki Burgman Street: Suzuki’s 2026 Burgman Street line features a number of improvements in technology, appearance and comfort to the rider compared with last year’s model. Changes to models and pricing have led to a clear delineation of pricing that targets urban riders — from the entry-level model (for simple point A to point B transportation) to high-end models that have technology improvements and additional features for the urban commuter.
Variant-Wise Price Map
Suzuki states that the consumer will have more options than ever before while at the same time maintaining a low cost entry price for entry-level riders. For example, the mid-tier and upper-tier models will have a slightly higher cost for inclusion of technology improvements. The price of the entry-level models is attractive when compared to other transportation options, but they do vary by price depending on added features and/or upgraded displays.
DON'T MISS
With respect to those features, such as the inclusion of a TFT (thin film transistor) display and improved connected technology, the price differential will enable Suzuki to compete with other premium 125cc scooters.
Connected Tech Suite Gets Smarter
The newest and perhaps most dramatic model introduction from previous years is the introduction of a Bluetooth enabled system that allows riders to access turn by turn navigation instructions, receive calls or text messages, and track the movement of the user (i.e., ride analytics) through a dedicated companion application on the rider’s smartphone or tablet. Furthermore, the speed of data transfer and communications between the rider’s smartphone/tablet and the scooter are greatly improved.
The continuation of these trends indicates that scooters with integrated digital technologies and multiple forms of mobility will be utilized for more than just fuel-based energy sources.
New TFT Screen: A Premium Leap
One of the most exciting features for 2026 is the TFT fully digital instrumentation cluster, which provides greater visibility than the standard LCD instrumentation display. The high-resolution graphics and ability to configure the display layout will also make this an enjoyable experience for commuters, especially when riding at night and for longer distances where being able to clearly view all of the data quickly is especially critical.
What This Means for Buyers
The new Burgman Street is not just an upgraded look, but instead it is also a strong indication of the desire to move towards a higher end / premium product in the commuter scooter market, by combining practicality with technology that is smart and flexible.
