Maruti Suzuki has raised the bar in India’s SUV market with the grand launch of the Victoris, a flagship model that combines bold styling, cutting-edge technology, with class-leading safety. It wants to take a big share of the competitive midsize SUV market in India, where it will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Hyryder.
Dimensions and Design
The Victoris is a subcompact crossover SUV based on Suzuki’s Global C platform. Its dimensions are as follows:
- Length: 4,360 mm
- 1,795 mm wide
- Height: 1,655 mm
- 2,600 mm wheelbase
The outside has 18-inch alloy wheels, elegant LED headlights, and paint options in two colours. It has high-end equipment inside, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a motorised tailboard that you can control with your hands.
Choices for the powertrain
The Victoris has a lot of different powertrains to choose from:
- 1.5L K15C Smart Hybrid Petrol that has 103 horsepower and 139 Nm of torque.
- 1.5L Petrol and CNG: 87.8 hp and 121.5 Nm of torque.
- The 1.5L Strong Hybrid (Toyota M15D-FXE) makes 92.45 hp and 122 Nm of torque.
- There are different types of transmissions, such as a 5-speed manual transmission (MT).
- Automatic Transmission (AT) with 6 speeds
- e-CVT for Strong Hybrid models
The Victoris also has an AllGrip Select AWD system that makes it better at going off-road.

- Comfort: The driver’s seat can be adjusted in eight ways, the front seats are ventilated, and the car can charge wirelessly.
Availability and Prices
There are six different versions of the Victoris: Lxi, Vxi, Zxi, Zxi (O), Zxi+, and Zxi+ (O). The prices have been published, and you may book a room at ₹11,000. The SUV is made at Maruti Suzuki’s Kharkhoda Plant in Haryana and will only be available at Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships. It will also be sent to more than 100 countries.
